TITLE: Rock your rugby socks off at the 2011 Manchester 7s Festival

Not only will fans be able to watch world class rugby at this year’s Manchester Rugby 7s, which is to be held at Broughton Park FC between 13 - 15 May 2011, but some of Manchester’s best up and coming bands have also confirmed they will be playing at the festival.
The MR7s Team have teamed up with Who Dares Wins, themselves organisers of events and festivals around Manchester, to bring together an exciting line-up of bands, with Arctic Monkeys cover band Desert Monkeys the headline act.

Other bands playing at the festival include - The Brightsparks, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Dead Kestrels, The Quangos, Cheap Cuts and Bourbon Street Beat, with more to follow.

The 3 day festival will also include a variety of entertainment, including Festival Party Marquee with DJs playing music all weekend, Red Bull chill-out wigwam, hot tub, massage girls, fancy dress, kids play zone, free kids rugby camp, VIP hospitality, trade village, a variety of food outlets and much more.

“The Manchester 7s is a fantastic event to be involved in, on and off the field. I’m pleased to be present at this years festival and can’t wait for it to begin” commented Andy Titterrell, current Leeds, England and British Lions player.

Alongside the festival entertainment, there are 12 tournaments to enter over the 3 days.  Teams for the International Invitation Cup, the ‘blue riband’ tournament, were recently announced.  The line-up includes some of the top sevens teams in Europe, for example Sale Sharks, Samurai, Marauders, Rugby Ecosse and the Dutch National Team.
